Horsegram Dosai/Kollu Dosai

Last week while talking with my mom, i was telling about kollu idli/dosa recipes,she was also interested to see the outcome. At last tried it and had a healthy and yummy breakfast on this week end. Thanks Malar for the recipe! :)

Ingredients
Brown Rice-2 cups
Horse Gram(kollu)-1/2cup
Fenugreek seeds(vendhayam) -1 teaspoon
Salt

Method
Wash and soak the horse gram, rice & methi seeds for 6 hours.
Grind the rice and fenugreek seeds together and horse gram separately. Add enough salt, mix it well and keep aside for 8 hours for fermentation. (fermentation time varies according to your weather though! :))
Make dosas and enjoy it with your choice of chutney/sambar.

  3. மிகவும் ஹெல்தியான கொள்ளு தோசை...வீட்டில் அடிக்கடி செய்வதுண்டு...ஆனால் இந்த கலர் வரவில்லை...நானும் பிரவுன் ரைஸ் தான் எப்பொழுதுமே இந்த தோசைக்கு பயன்படுத்துவேன்...ஆனால் பிரவுன் ரைஸ் அளவு குறைவாக இருக்கு,,,அதனால் கலரில் மாற்றம் இருக்கும்...அடுத்த முறை...அதிகம் போட்டு செய்து பார்க்கிறேன்....பார்க்கும் பொழுது தோசையினை சாப்பிட் தூண்டுது...
